Art Classes
Offering three terms of Art Classes throughout the school year, ArtVenture’s unique studio space provides students with small class size and individualized learning. Classes are available daytime, evenings, and weekends for all ages - from Senior Kindergarten through to Adults.
With an academic approach to art education, the program infuses an element of art history and colour theory with each project. As students delve deeper into understanding the works of 19th and 20th century artists and art movements, they are guided through the process of creation and work towards finding their own artistic voice within their artwork.

"Subject Matters"
Throughout art’s history, certain subjects have stood the test of time. The universal themes such as landscapes, still-lifes, romantic love, motherhood, and war have prompted innumerable artists over many centuries to explore these indelible topics. Why have these particular subjects endured? Our 6-part weekly lecture series will address this fascinating question, examine the various ways that artists have interpreted these subjects, and illuminate their ongoing allure for artists and the public alike.
