Terms and Conditions

It is advisable to read our policies before proceeding to registration.

Registration and Class size


We are committed to make every effort possible to accommodate all the registrants by adding or combining art classes according to the demand and the resources available. Since inspiring environment, high quality teaching, and above-average personal attention are our main goals, art classes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants per class. Registration is accepted at any time during the year, if space is available. Classes are filled on a first-come first-served basis and are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not reached.


Absence & Make-Up Classes


To be considered for a make-up class, notice of absence must be given at least 2hrs in advance.  Make-up classes are a courtesy based on availability and are not guaranteed. Upon advance notice, missed classes may be made-up during the same term and at the same class level if space is available. Missed classes are not transferable or eligible for credit. 

   

Tuition


See Class Schedule for current fees. For group reservations and workshops - call or email for rates and availability. Limited materials are included in all regular classes. 


Payment Options


$100+tax deposit is required to secure a spot in the class. Deposit is non refundable and non transferable. Tuition in full is due before the beginning of the first class. Payments can be processed through e-transfer to info@artventure.ca (preferred), PayPal, over the phone (VISA / MC), or in person (cash / debit / credit). A payment in two-installments is also offered by paying 50% of the course fee upfront (which includes the non-refundable deposit) and the remaining 50% of the course fee to be paid with a post-dated cheque dated 30 days after the first class. Keep your receipts for tax purposes. There is a $5.00 fee for duplicate receipts. 


Discounts


10% discount (of the lower fee) is granted for additional immediate family member registration. Immediate family includes spouse, child, parent or sibling living at the same address. Not applicable for a 10 week term or less. Early Registration and other incentives, when offered, apply only to classes with 11 weeks or more per term. Discounts and coupons cannot be combined and are limited to one per family. Other restrictions may apply. 


Refunds / Withdrawal 


Deposit, or an amount equivalent to it at the time of registration, is non refundable and serves to save a spot in the class/camp of your choice. 

For terms with 11 weeks or more - Once the term has started, 50% of the fees (not including deposit or equivalent amount) will be refunded. No refunds will be granted after the 4th class.

For terms with 10 weeks or less - Fees are 100% non refundable once the term has begun.

Any discount or coupons redeemed or received for self or for a family member will be deducted from the amounts refunded.   

The greater of 3% or $10 (plus tax) processing fee will be applied to all refunds except for course cancellation.

We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion unless otherwise required by law.


Coupons and Gift cards


Coupons and Gift Cards have no cash value and must be presented at the time of final payment. The value of the coupon or gift card cannot be refunded after full payment has been processed. For those who register through PayPal or over the phone and wish to use a coupon or gift card, we recommend paying the deposit only first and the balance with the coupon in person.
