We're excited to welcome Art Historian Sonia Halpern back to the studio in the new year to explore our country's creative identity. This illustrated 4-part series examines the role of identity in the evolution of Canadian art since the late 19th century. We will discover that Canada’s history has included an exciting array of artists with various interpretations of what it means to be “Canadian”. This visual journey will reinforce the fact that Canadian art encompasses so much more than the Group of Seven! We invite you to register and join us on Mondays in February for another illuminating session with Sonia.
